See here’s the thing, I did take your compliment and I said thank you and that I genuinely appreciated it. “Try being positive” typically doesn’t work for those with depression which, judging by this message, is something you’ve never dealt with on a large scale.
Now as for your last anon in saying, “Shitty people do not join the Air Force to fight for our country and freedom for the people who live in it” (if you’re the anon I’m thinking of). Talk to any member of the military and they will tell you something incredibly similar to what I said. Not everyone in the military is a great and upstanding person. If they were, I would be out of a job and I wouldn’t have to worry about getting shot at work. In fact, I know more people who enlisted because they had a choice of either military or jail time, than for ~patriotic~ reasons.
I don’t want your compliments if they’re going to come from a place where if you aren’t thanked and praised, you get shitty. So I hope you have a fabulous weekend.
A lot of times I wonder what would have happened if we woulda worked out. You were the first person I’d genuinely liked in a really long time.
Why is everyone being so sweet to me right now oh my God
While I genuinely appreciate the sentiment, there are some seriously shitty people in the military.
But nonetheless, thank you.
Lmfao I’m so emotional that this made me cry rn. But thank you.
I’ve hit a point where I’m pretty sure it’d be best if I just let everyone be for awhile. I have a habit of making situations exponentially worse for everyone involved. It tends to work out better for everyone if I just don’t talk about anything at all.
